Yes you can bring a spouse or significant other.

[fa icon="plus-square"] When must we RSVP by?

All RSVP's must be received by January 20th!  Please make sure your RSVP is on time to secure your spot in the March trip.

In order to enter Dominican Republic you must purchase a tourist card.  You can do this online ahead of time using a credit card and print out this card ($10).  It will save you from waiting in line at airport arrival.  If you wait until you arrive it is still $10 but you could have a long wait.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What are my flight details?

You will be receiving an email from Christopherson Business Travel after you RSVP prompting you to fill out your information.  They will then follow-up to get flights booked within Homeside's policy and times.

 

[fa icon="plus-square"] Is airport transportation provided?

Yes when you arrive to Punta Cana airport, please proceed through customs and immigration, then pickup luggage.  There will be luggage handlers who pull each bag and stack them up, it is okay to say no thank you and take your bag or you can use the luggage handlers (please provide tip).  Please follow signs towards the exit.  You will hotel counters to the left and on the right companies holding up individual signs.  Please look for the Homeside sign held by Connect DMC once you exit the airport.  

To make the arrival process quicker and more pleasant we insist each guest purchase their tourist card and print it out BEFORE ARRIVAL.  This will save 30+ minutes of waiting in line and is the same cost if purchased ahead of time.  Please purchase here and print out before the trip:

For departures you must check out from the hotel, keep that departure card and meet downstairs from the lobby check-in.  We will be departing from the downstairs exit (where the arrivals private check-in table was setup).  

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can I come early or extend my trip?

Given the amount of planning and logistics that go into this trip we ask you to fly on the Homeside sponsored dates March 2-5th.  

 

 

[fa icon="plus-square"] How are activities being handled?

Due to the high number of cancellations we have decided to allow individuals to book their activities.  Homeside will cover the cost of 1 activity per attendee and 1 per guest if you actually attend the activity.  We ask you not to expense the activity if you do not make it!

In lieu of pre-planned individual activities we will be hosting a beach party with lawn games, drinks and socializing on Friday from 2-4pm.  

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can I expense a dinner at Passion?

If you choose to dine at the specialty restaurant Passion we ask for each attendee to cover this cost on their own.  There are 6 dinner options included on property in the all-inclusive package covered by Homeside. 

[fa icon="plus-square"] If the itinerary changes, how will I stay updated?

There will be two options.

1.  All updates and changes will be communicated to you through email in a timely manner.  This means you should be using the hotel wi-fi once a day to check for any updates or special events added.

2.  The website will also have all updates posted before the event and during the event.
